Aodh Mór Ó Néill, the second Earl of Tyrone
Born 1550 as the grandson of Conn O'Neill, the first Earl of Tyrone. Aged nine he became a ward of Giles Hovendon, an English settler in the Pale. He was educated in England as an English noble. There he learned the tactics of English warfare and the art of diplomacy. In 1585 he became the second Earl of Tyrone.
Eoghan Rua Ó Néill
was the son of Art O'Neill, a younger brother of Aodh Mór Ó Néill, 2nd Earl of Tyrone. As a young man he left Ireland in the "Flight of the Earls" to escape the English conquest of his native Ulster. He grew up in the Spanish Netherlands and spent 40 years serving in the Irish Regiment of the Spanish Army.
Aodh O'Neill
He was the second son of Eoghan or Owen O'Neill - King of Ulster (1432-1455) - and member of the Tyrone House. His mother was Catherine Mac Mahon. He reconquered South Armagh and founded there the Clan O'Neill of the Fews. His descendent Henry O'Neill moved to Spain with his wife Hannah O'Kelly in 1758.

Thank you for supporting this campaign.
I can imagine that you must feel very strongly about the matter, since Tara has been the seat of many of your ancestors. And even 400 years of exile do not take away the ancient bonds of blood and spirit.
